Our Story

A passion for children, rooted in community

I am a veteran teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience that spans over three continents. A mother of two and a grandmother to two lovely girls.

As a member of the Sugar Land community for over 20 years, it gives me great pleasure to be able to unlock children's creative, social and academic potential in preparing them for school.

The Progressive Daycare has been in operation since 2011 as a CDA certified institution.

"We believe children thrive in small, home-like settings where every child is known, loved, and prepared for what comes next."

We have had tremendous success with neurodivergent children — including children who were nonverbal when they joined us and entered school speaking in complete sentences.

Every child deserves to be heard.

We have had tremendous success working with neurodivergent children, including children who were nonverbal when they first joined us — and who entered school speaking in complete sentences.

Our small class sizes, 3:1 teacher ratio, and nurturing home environment give every child the individual attention, patience, and consistency they need to find their voice — at their own pace, in their own time.
